US vs Pakistan cold war

Enraged at being called out by President Trump for nurturing terrorist groups, Islamabad is believed to have devised a “three option toughest diplomatic policy” where it could block access for US and NATO supplies to land locked Afghanistan.

Pakistan will limit diplomatic ties with US and wouldn’t procure more F-16 jets from them.

US has already banned Habib Bank’s operations in USA, which is Pakistan’s leading financial institution. It has also threatened Pakistan of stripping the status of a non-NATO Ally, cutting off all aid, imposing a travel ban on suspected ISI personnel and finally, formal designation as a terrorist state.

This could result in problems for Pakistan as it would limit weapon sales and affect  the monetary condition in respect to loans from the World Bank and the IMF. The political leaders remain unfazed and are hoping that either Russia or China will come to their rescue.
